Location of Work: Based in Shanghai office, China
Reports to: Sales Director

Details of Role/ Responsibilities:
 
1. Lead in the development of SPR sales plans, strategies and budgets;
2. Organizing the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales targets for existing and new business;
3. Identify and build up strong relationship with strategic customers to support business growth and value pricing efforts;
4. Organize various customer conferences and presentations to support market growth efforts;
5. Monitor and manage the sales and customer service team in their business to ensure teamwork and the delivery of total customer satisfaction;
6. Evaluate performance and training new sales staff and managers for improved performance;
7. Completion of various sales reports and report new business/project progress frequently
8. Keep track of competitor activities and provide feedback and suitable sales strategies to win in the market;
9. Work closely with the management team in the supply plants to ensure quality of products and on time delivery;
10. Negotiate with customers on pricing, customer claim and other issues
11. Lead market research efforts(e.g. market segmentation, branding) and develop marketing communication plans (e.g. seminars, exhibitions, customer visits, etc) to identify strategic customers to support business growth
12. Work with the finance people to ensure the effective management of debts and inventory levels.
13. Identify new product opportunities to be suitable for local manufacture
 
Requirements
 
1. Bachelor degree in Engineering, Materialogy or a related area;
2. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of working experience in SPR Sales field with at least 4 years in managerial role.
3. Experience working in a foreign multinational company preferably European or American.
4. Good experience and network of contacts in the SPR sales
5. Strong value selling ability and new business development ability.
6. Proven track record in sales in terms and effective sales force management for business growth.
7. Good verbal and written communication skills in English
8. Person should be a team player, able to work with both sales and manufacturing plant people, independent and willing to work under pressure and could travel frequently
