LPG Manager – Solar China

Mission Statement:
Overall responsible for the Solar business growth, financial & operational success of the Local Product Group; Implements and executes instructions, decisions and resolutions of LBU management team
Main Accountabilities:
1. Review current strategy and adapt business plan based on market development, prepares short and long term objectives and recommends their adoption to Local Business Unit (LBU) management;
2. Fully understand Solar market trends and competitor activity and grow ABB’s Solar business in China;
3. Directs and supervises all business activities, including sales & marketing, engineering, R&D, production, and after sales service;
4. Build-up strong channel partner network and relationship to customers;
5. Build-up R&D capability and strengthen engineering competence in line with LBU and PG product roadmap;
6. Submits regular operational reports, financial status and progress on programs and objectives for sales, profits, investment and growth, to the LBU;
7. Develops and maintains a sound organization structure, and ensures capable management succession, actively develops employees;
8. Sees that adequate organization plans, procedures and controls are employed by each department. Strives to increase productivity of the organization;
9. Ensure adherence to ABB integrity and safety rules and regulations

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Above 5 years’ experience in a leading position in the field of Solar or electrical engineering China
- Winning sales personality, experience in developing sales channels, key account management and customer relationship management
- Strong leader, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in an international environment with P&L management experience
- Results-oriented with good ability to collaborate with others
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Good English and Chinese communication skill
- Computer skills (MS-Office, Outlook)
